I graduated from Pennsylvania State University in May, 1997 with
a BS in chemical engineering. While at PSU, I worked as a co-op student at DuPont in Seaford, DE and Chattanooga, TN as part of their Nylon division. Following graduation, I was
employed as a process engineer at Praxair
in Tonawanda, NY.
In the fall of 1999, I returned
to school to pursue a MS in chemical engineering at Montana State University.
I was employed by the Center for Biofilm Engineering which is a National Science
Foundation research center. My research examined the effects of
photocatalysis on the formation and removal of biofilms on glass surfaces in
aqueous environments. I'm happy to say that I (4/12/02) obtained my Master
of Science degree.
I am currently a PhD student in
engineering at Montana State University. My current research involves the
use of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) imaging technology to examine fluid flow
in porous media.
